From the Starting Blocks to the Mats I’ve spent my life obsessed with how the human body handles pressure. It started at Villanova University, where I spent three years (graduated early) as a Division 1 swimmer learning that there is a massive difference between “not being injured” and being truly ready to perform. After earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University, I entered the world of traditional clinical care. I quickly realized the system was broken.
Most clinics are designed to get you “back to baseline”-which usually just means you’re functional enough to sit at a desk. But for the people I live and train with in Marin County, “baseline” isn’t enough. The Birth of the Anti-Fragile Method Whether I’m training at Black Sheep Jiu Jitsu in Fairfax or chasing my toddler around our home in San Rafael, I see the same thing: high-performers who are sidelined by “niggles” and chronic pain that never seem to go away. They are told to rest, take pills, or just “accept” that they’re getting older. I founded Dragon Physical Therapy to offer a third option. I wanted to build a practice that treated patients like the high performers they are. I developed the Anti-Fragile Method to move beyond temporary fixes. By identifying the specific mechanical leaks in your movement, we don’t just “patch” the pain-we build a Mechanical Fortress that allows you to hike Mt. Tam, roll on the mats, and live your life without restrictions.
Why Concierge? As a business owner and a father, I know that time is the most valuable resource we have. You shouldn’t have to choose between your recovery and your life. That’s why I brought this elite level of care directly to the community-meeting you at your home or our partner studio in San Anselmo. I’m not just here to get you out of pain. I’m here to make sure you stay in the game, for life.
